"De-age and de-humanize"

Films: Evil Spawn (1987)

Alias: Lynn Roman

Type: Alien/Mutant

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Once again, we deal with what happens when an alien virus screws up everyone's day. This time, it's only one person getting infected. But what an infection it is.

History: One day, some Venusian microbes were delivered to a scientist from a probe for experimentation. He idealized the microbes being used to help reduce ageing. When he died, his assistant tested them on an actress desperate to recapture her youth. Not only did that not get her any roles anyway, but it also transformed her into an ungodly insectoid monster seeking human flesh. Anyone else getting Wasp Woman vibes?

Notable Kills: Some of her kills are skinned alive, and it looks nasty.

Final Fate: After the beast is confronted, it is gunned down, but not before biting a guy. Pretty soon, an alien monster bursts out of that guy's gut.

Powers/Abilities: Can infect others with its offspring with a bite.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-The only thing holding this unique alien back is that its costume looks a bit on the rubbery side. Other that that, you have a razor-clawed death machine with a disturbing metamorphosis and a taste for excessive violence.

Trivia: -There are actually two versions of this film. Namely, this one and "The Alien Within".

-This film was also known as "Metamorphosis", "Deadly Sting", and "Alive by Night".
